FAQ

Is this an official Cameraman Tower Defense tier list?
No. It reflects one community video (Menzi’s unit ranking on YouTube). Aligators Games does not publish an official tier list, and patches can change stats.
Why are some AoE units lower if DPS looks high?
Menzi downgrades units that cannot kill “glasses” shielded enemies until max level—or at all. Large TV Man and TV Man are called out for that limit in his review.
Does this list include Update 3 mythics like Glitch Cameraman?
No. Menzi’s ranking predates those units. See our update log and shop guide for Spider Crate mythics spotted in later footage.
What does Meta vs OP mean here?
They are Menzi’s TierMaker row names (Meta / Imba “OP” / Normal / So-so), not an in-game rarity or official grade.
Should I trust the DPS numbers?
Treat them as single-source snapshots from Menzi reading in-game stat cards around October 2026. Re-check in your lobby after balance changes.

What is the best Cameraman Tower Defense tier list for October 2026?

The most complete community ranking we found is Menzi’s TierMaker board from early October 2026 (YouTube uanOCZWvcXQ): fifteen units sorted into Meta, OP (Imba), Normal, and So-so, with placement costs on each icon. We did not run our own DPS tests—we transcribed his on-screen stat cards and tier labels for this page (last reviewed 2026-10-10).

How did Menzi group every unit by tier?

Menzi’s Meta row: Titan Cinemaman ($2000), Upgraded Titan Speakerman ($1000), Jetpack Cameraman ($300), Scientist Cameraman ($100), Engineer ($200). OP / Imba: Ninja Cameraman, Laser Cameraman, TV Man, Cameraman Titan, Large Scientist Cameraman. Normal: Large Cameraman, Large TV Man, Camera Helicopter, Titan Speakerman. So-so: Large Speakerman only; his Trash row is empty.

For pick-by-role advice (starters, economy, Insane), see best units in Cameraman Tower Defense—that page avoids repeating this full table.

What are the stat lines for all fifteen ranked units?

Per Menzi’s unit ranking video, these are the numbers he read from in-game cards (start → max where shown):

Large Speakerman Epic $180 50→400 →15 Weakest starter; So-so

How should you read DPS versus placement cost?

Editorial opinion (not tested by us): divide max DPS by placement cost for a rough “scaling budget” score—Ninja Cameraman (1000 DPS for $200) and Large Cameraman (500 for $200) look efficient on paper, while TV Man ($1000 for 2000 DPS) trades cost for AoE that still fails against glasses until you pivot. Menzi still placed Ninja in OP, not Meta, because Meta slots went to economy (Scientist), spawners (Engineer), and late mythic AoE.

Matches use a five-slot hotbar and a 15-unit cap in footage we reviewed—plan tiers around those limits, not every epic you own. New players should pair this list with the beginner guide and difficulty modes before chasing mythics.

What are “glasses” enemies and why do they matter?

Menzi uses glasses for shielded toilets that some AoE towers cannot finish—he explicitly says Large TV Man and TV Man fail against them, while Upgraded Titan Speakerman (at max), Titan Cinemaman, and Large Scientist Cameraman can. We have not verified enemy HP values; this is his gameplay claim only.
