FAQ

How much does TV Man cost in Cameraman Tower Defense?
Menzi’s placement icon and stat-card segment both show $1000. Confirm live Shop prices yourself after Update 3 balance passes.
What are TV Man’s max DPS and range?
On Menzi’s in-game card at ~228s, DPS reads 100 to 2000 and range 15 to 25, with Legendary AoE typing. Damage on the same card is 100 to 500 with cooldown 1 to 0.25.
Why does TV Man not kill glasses enemies?
Menzi states in his ranking narration (~3:36) that TV Man’s AoE, like Large TV Man, does not finish glasses shielded toilets. Treat that as his gameplay claim, not verified enemy HP data.
Is TV Man better than Large TV Man?
Menzi ranks TV Man OP ($1000, up to 2000 DPS) and Large TV Man Normal ($400, up to 500 DPS). Both share the glasses limitation in his review; TV Man is the bigger mid-game AoE investment.
Should you pick TV Man or Titan Cinemaman?
Titan Cinemaman costs $2000, hits higher max DPS on Menzi’s mythic card, and he credits it for glasses targets. TV Man is cheaper to slot but stops on the same enemy type Large TV Man fails—plan a glasses-capable mythic for Insane-heavy routes.
Where does TV Man sit on Menzi’s tier list?
His TierMaker board places the $1000 TV Man icon in the Imba (OP) row, not Meta. Economy and late mythic AoE units occupy Meta instead.

What is TV Man in Cameraman Tower Defense?

TV Man is a Legendary AoE damage tower—the purple TV-headed unit many players search as “Titan TV Man” because that is the name on Menzi’s October 2026 stat card. Menzi says it costs $1000 to place, scales to 2000 DPS with range 25, and belongs in his OP (Imba) tier for clearing grouped toilets. Menzi also says it does not kill glasses enemies, the same shielded-toilet problem he assigns to Large TV Man. Numbers below follow his video frames and English auto-captions—not independent in-game DPS tests.

How much does TV Man cost and what rarity is it?

The $1000 price tag appears on Menzi’s unit icon before he opens the full card—double the $500 Titan Speakerman legendary he rates Normal, and ten times Ninja Cameraman’s $200 starter cost in the same video. Legendary rarity and red AOE labeling match the TV Man row on the Cameraman Tower Defense tier list (last reviewed 2026-10-10).

What DPS and range does TV Man reach at max level?

Menzi’s card shows 100 → 2000 DPS and 15 → 25 range, with 100 → 500 damage and 1 → 0.25 cooldown on the same panel. A later frame in his edit circles the range line—same numbers, no stat change—so we treat 2000 DPS / 25 range as his readout, not our measurement.

Editorial opinion (untested): 2000 max DPS ÷ $1000 placement ≈ 2.0 DPS per dollar on paper—worse efficiency than Ninja Cameraman (1000÷200 = 5) or Large Cameraman (500÷200 = 2.5) in the same ranking. You are paying for AoE coverage, not single-target efficiency. Pair income from Scientist Cameraman or coins and economy before locking a four-digit slot on difficulty modes with tight wave payouts.

Why can’t TV Man kill glasses enemies?

Menzi says TV Man “does not kill opponents with glasses” (~3:36), matching his Large TV Man epic segment (~1:32). His clip does not show a clean gameplay frame where glasses toilets survive TV Man AoE—only narration plus the parallel epic callout—so treat the glasses limit as his claim, not pixel proof. Community pages such as best units repeat his glasses split: Titan Cinemaman, max Upgraded Titan Speakerman, and Large Scientist Cameraman are his glasses-capable picks; TV Man and Large TV Man fail.

For the cheaper epic cousin, Menzi’s Large TV Man card shows $400, Epic AoE, 40 → 500 DPS, 9 → 20 range—same glasses warning in voiceover, Normal tier instead of OP.

When should you use TV Man—and when should you skip it?

Editorial suggestion (untested): slot TV Man when you already have economy (Scientist), a front-line spawner (Engineer), and you need mid-game AoE before mythic prices land—not when the lobby is stacking glasses-heavy waves on Insane. Creator Insane routes that lean on Titan TV Man are summarized on the Insane mode guide (Yahaha’s ladder and portrait’s Large TV Man stack). Menzi says OP-tier TV Man still loses to shielded toilets, so keep budget for Titan Cinemaman or plan around Jetpack Cameraman single-lane burst if that is what you own.

Skip TV Man as your only legendary upgrade if glasses enemies appear in your map footage; Menzi says mythic Titan Cinemaman ($2000, up to 7000 DPS on his card) is the long AoE answer with glasses credit. TV Man remains a $1000 stepping stone, not a full Insane carry by his rules.

How does TV Man compare on Menzi’s tier list?

On his finished TierMaker screenshot (~406s), the $1000 TV Man portrait sits in the Imba (OP) row alongside Laser Cameraman, Cameraman Titan, and Ninja Cameraman, while Meta holds economy and mythic finishers. Large TV Man stays Normal at $400.
